Privacy Policy

This policy describes how SoCal Plumbing Connect handles information collected through this website and our plumbing-referral intake. We connect people with participating plumbing companies; we do not perform the plumbing work through this referral website.

Information we collect and why

Please avoid entering payment details, government identifiers, health information or other sensitive personal information. Our forms do not request them.

Who receives information

With the permission you give in the request form or intake conversation, we disclose contact and service details to Plumb Bee Plumbing and/or Roger That Plumbing for follow-up about your request. Plumb Bee is primary; Roger has separate service coverage. New live requests also generate an operational email to our operator at plumbbeeplumbing@gmail.com. This email uses Resend and contains request details.

Participating plumbing companies may pay for qualified or accepted referrals. A paid referral involves providing contact and service information for consideration, and applicable privacy law may treat some such disclosures as a sale. We do not describe the referral business as one that never sells information. You can use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to make an opt-out request.

We use companies that provide website hosting, storage, notifications, security and AI telephone services. The current services include OpenAI Sites/Cloudflare, Resend and Vapi, as well as voice or AI providers configured for the phone service. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, safety, fraud prevention or legal claims. We do not use privacy-request information to create a plumbing lead.

AI telephone intake

Our main phone line is answered by an AI assistant. Speaking with it involves processing your voice, conversation text, contact details and call metadata through the phone service and its configured providers. Any call recording or retained transcription requires appropriate disclosure and any consent required by applicable law. You may decline and use the website form or contact a plumbing company directly. A website notice is not a substitute for a recording notice during a call.

Cookies and browser privacy signals

Google Ads website measurement and Google Analytics 4 are disabled. The site does not send website visit or saved-request events to Google. Removing website measurement does not delete information previously received by service providers.

The site stores a first-party cookie for your referral-sharing choice and may briefly store a privacy-request confirmation reference in your browser’s session storage. Hosting and owner sign-in services may also use essential cookies. A browser referral opt-out can remain for up to one year. Clearing cookies or changing devices affects browser preferences; stored contact suppressions remain until appropriately resolved.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) by blocking referral-form sharing in that browser. You can manage your referral-sharing preference in Privacy Choices. A browser signal does not identify a phone number supplied through another device or phone call; use the privacy-request form with your callback number or request reference to apply an opt-out to existing contact records.

Privacy choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete information, stop contact, or opt out of sale or sharing using our privacy-request form, by emailing plumbbeeplumbing@gmail.com, or by calling (562) 684-3193 and stating that you have a privacy request. No account is required. A phone number or request reference helps identify existing lead records.

The website applies a matching contact suppression when an opt-out, stop-contact or deletion request includes an identifiable callback number or request reference. This blocks new referral intake, further qualification/delivery and unsent lead-alert retries for that contact. An opt-out does not remove data already received by another company; we review requests involving prior recipients separately.

Access, correction and deletion requests are reviewed by our operator. We may need to verify identity or authority before releasing or deleting information. We do not require identity verification to submit an opt-out. An acknowledgment means your request was saved, not that access or deletion is complete. We will explain any applicable exception or information needed to process your request. California residents may have additional statutory rights depending on applicable law, including rights concerning sensitive information and equal treatment for exercising privacy rights. These terms do not waive those rights.

Retention and protection

Retention depends on request handling, permission records, referral accounting, complaints, fraud prevention, legal obligations and disputes. There is no single automatic deletion period for all records. Deletion requests are reviewed against those purposes; limited records may need to remain, including suppression records used to honor an opt-out. Copies in recipients’ systems, provider logs, email or backups may require separate handling.

The lead and privacy dashboards require owner authorization. Credentials are kept on the server, and we limit the details requested through public forms. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you believe information has been exposed or used improperly.

Children and policy changes

This service is intended for adults arranging plumbing help. We do not knowingly seek information from children. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so we can review removal.

We publish updates on this page and change the effective/updated date. Material changes to how previously collected information is used will be handled with any notice or permission required by law. Review this policy when making a new request.
